Fuji xt3 files missing update part 2

Hello again….on August 2 I shot raw only. I used Fuji x studio raw with no issues. Yesterday I shot F-Raw when I got home I was not able to upload anything not raw or Jpeg. Although Fuji x studio showed I was connected to the xt3 so the usb was working. There are pictures in there as I was able to wireless send them to my phone and then email them to my computer. After doing so more research this morning I may have found the problem but I don’t know. In settings there are 3 options sequential back-up and raw/jpg mine was set to sequential. So I’m thinking it maybe should be set to raw/jpg? If so that still does not explain why any of my processing programs won’t pick up the jpegs. Thank you🙏

Have you tried uploading Raw or JPG to your computer using an Adobe, Windows, or Mac product of some kind? Is there some reason you use a Fujifilm uploader? I have one Fuji camera as well as a bunch of Pentax cameras. I all ways use my Adobe Camera software for all my cameras but my Cell Phone.

Why don’t you call Fuji. They are very helpful. (800) 659-3854

It’s so frustrating when things suddenly don’t work. But it happens. Most all of the problems we have with computers nowadays are software related.

Q: Have you tried direct download to your computer from the flash memory card?

Have you tried looking at the camera memory using the computer file manager? In Windows it is Windows Explorer.

Is the version of Fuji studio one that came with the camera or from an earlier model? Each camera model can have a different RAW codec and the software needs the proper codec to convert the RAW data to an image. Without it, they often don't even show that the file exists.

Thank you PH for the help. The version is from neither it’s downloaded from the Fuji website. As for the camera model that shouldn’t matter as everything worked fine on Monday and then nothing on Tuesday. I think the problem is in a setting. I’m going to call Fuji shortly. I will post what they say! 👍🙏

If your phone could get them but the Studio Raw could not, I'm betting on a setting in Studio Raw.

In any case, let us know what Fuji says.

It didn’t go well. They say the call may be recorded for training purposes, I hope so. I called right at 9 when they opened and explained my situation. Just to reiterate I had not taken any raw photos as I had no software to open Fuji. So on Monday I took 4 raw photos in the back yard. Hooked the camera to the computer via USB and the 4 pictures were there and I worked on them changing simulations etc. The next day Tuesday I was not able to do this and finally got them via a card reader. How this happened on Monday is I guess the Christmas miracle because as I was vehemently told it is impossible because that’s not what the software does! Maybe it’s a glitch when you use it the first time I don’t know. But there is nothing more aggravating than someone telling you what you did didn’t happen. We were going nowhere and somehow I was accidentally disconnected. I wrote a scathing email to corporate about my customer service experience.

Not enough info. Worked them how? Are you sure you used the studio raw?
