Lighting and b&w treatment are spot on...

No color. Drab. Dreary. Grey color similar to dead plants. The color is the equal of the subject in my opinion. That in my opinion qualifies your snapshot as ridiculous.

Ahhh i see. With you, then, I have been casting pearls before swine. Feel free to just pass on by the next time you see my name on a topic then. It will save us both time.

Good advice. It would be nice if you included a B&W warning in the title. Even more time saved. Some of your photos are good so I will keep on looking. Hoping they are not dead looking like the plant above.

SRG for some reason, Bob choosing to shoot that philodendron in b&w struck a raw nerve with you. The philodendron still exists, Bob did no harm to it. He merely chose to record in b&w. He has been sharing a lot of b&w images lately. He could have made an infrared image or used old film or....I wonder how many hundreds of different ways Bob could have captured that philodendron. If I were recording the philodendron for my records, I'd probably have a color image, but I'd also like to have this image as well. Basically it's no skin off my ass if Bob Yankle makes a black and white image of a philodendron, I wonder why his doing that makes your's so sore.
