In Woodstook yesterday. Two injuries - one serious, one not so much. That's all I know.
When I get older that’s how I’m going to park.

The driver hit the gas instead of the brake. If only we could standardize the location of the brake and gas pedals.

Secured parking! Note chocks under rear wheels.

Heaven forbid the car should roll back and hit something.
Interesting to note the driver managed to miss all those posts designed to stop the cars - unless they were knocked over which means they weren't very good at their job.
Pretty common with right footed brakers. In a driving safety school nearly 60 years ago, the Kansas Highway Patrol taught me to use the left foot to brake with auto transmissions. This has saved me from accidents several times in my life.

They were going to give up driving yesterday. I guess they decided to give it one more day. Hahahahaha

At least they didn't damage the bollards.

To the contrary - Other news photos shows one bollard was under the front of the vehicle. So maybe not good enough to stop the vehicle, but maybe did slow the intrusion.
