It’s a great camera, works perfectly, sensor is clean. I see a couple of extremely light hairline scratches that only show up when the screen is off and held up under a strong light, at just the right angle. Screen is a 9+. There are no functional issues with the camera, the doors and panels all open and shut properly, the buttons and knobs all work properly, nothing seems loose or sticky. There are spots where the black finish rubbed off a bit on the edges, which is why I’m conservatively rating it an 8+.

It’s at about 57k shutter actuations, and Sony rates the shutter life expectancy on these at 500,000. Plenty of life left.

The original OEM Sony battery is included, the body cap, a Wasabi USB battery charger, and the original box. There’s also the tether clamp accessory, I’ve never used it but I think it came with the camera. Firmware is the latest available, 3.10. $1300 NO FEE PAYMENT (new IRS rules). Just out of curiosity and perhaps if I see this for something I am interested in purchasing or selling something. Please explain "NO FEE PAYMENT (new IRS rules)".

okay....new IRS rules require PayPal to report to them any sales (Goods and Services) transactions over $600 and the IRS now considers that as taxable income. Thats it in a nutshell.

I'm the 2nd owner and I bought the camera about 2 months ago and used it one time to photograph a recital.
BTW the A7R III has one of the highest rated senors according to DXO

I posted that the camera has been used for approx 57000 mechanical shutter actuations who cares how long it sat on the shelf

I believe you may be wrong on income for a single transaction unless you are in business. You may want to review what the IRS considers income for 2023 tax purposes per the attached

Aztec…. The 500k limit is if the house is jointly owned. I believe a single owner must pay after 250k

You are either a high income person or operating a cash business and not consistent in your bookkeeping if you are worried about some 1099's getting you in trouble with the IRS. Think of it this way, the IRS had enough on its hands prior to asking for billions of transaction details from the internet. Do you really think they are currently capable of going after you for selling a camera (personal item) here or there? What they are looking for is the person who is running a sales business on the internet and not paying taxes on income. If that is you, then you can worry. If not, relax a little!

I just dont want to do any paperwork Im a retiree, so forget the high income, my tax return is simple and i want to keep it that way
