Odd that you are getting the same temperatures as us. Are you getting colder temperatures on the weekend as well?

Yes they say it's going to be short lived, with rain and perhaps thunder on Sat. xx

That’s how we are Dh always has the air set at 70 and I am usually freezing… they fixed it today $94 dollars to find out a wire was loose……sounds about right for around here…😳🤪

That's great that it was just a loose wire, instead of a blown compressor or something else nasty.
You'll need the cool today. Time to wear your handmade sweaters. And socks. And maybe fingerless gloves.

Yes they are! Sometimes I like to mess with them just to waste as much of their time as possible, I've got plenty of time on my hands lol. But other times like this I just report the account and block them.

I "played" with one of the spam callers that said he was from Microsoft and there was a problem with my Microsoft device.
Don't mess with a tech person, we might have a sense of humour.

I had that with Albert jinx, only the other way around. He would be sitting with a blanket over him, heating on full blast 💥 and I would be passing out with the heat. He just couldn’t retain the heat in his body, he took so many pills 💊 didn’t help much.

Maybe that's mum's problem as well. She has a handfull of pills that she takes every day. I know one is for her heart because she gets angina. Another is for heartburn because of her hernia. Another is for chlorestoral. Another is high blood pressure. Another is water retention. I don't know what the rest are for.
She's being the energizer bunny so I guess all the pills are working.

I believe medication is also causing my freezing spells. So many people think taking a pill will cure all their problems. I find a pill may cure my problem and create two or three new problems.

I'm going to find out what he wants to test and go from there. My thyroid doc did the Cushing's syndrome test yesterday so we shall see what that says also. You'll all know when I know.. I'll just put it out there now though that I don't think I have Cushing's syndrome.. pretty sure that is a shot in the dark on his part.

Hope you get test result soon. Some times ruling out a disease like Cushing's gives doctors clues as to what it may be.
By process of elimination I hope they figure out what is going on and have an easy solution.

To be honest it was a total failure. The prep. hadn't worked properly so although it went ahead nothing could be seen, talking about another one but cannot and will not go through that again, they will have to think of a different way of prepping me.xx

😱🤬! How awful. Hope they can offer something different and do it quickly.

Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is 7:10 am EDT and 22'C (72'F) going up to 31'C (88'F). There is a line of thunderstorms heading south from Georgian Bay that are supposed to be here around lunchtime.
Yesterday was a water day. Mum "flicked" the button on the water cooler. (She "flicks" a lot of buttons, instead of just pressing them up and down) The button stuck and it kept pumping the water out of the cooler. I could hear it from my desk and yelled to her to open the door on the cooler. That stops the pump, but she panicked instead and was trying to find towels to mop up the half jug of water instead of listening and opening the door and stopping the water flow. I raced from my desk and was able to stop it before the entire jug emptied. So the kitchen got an unplanned mopping with very cold water. Then after lunch I knocked over DD's water glass all over the table while I was winding yarn. The placemats soaked most of it up.
There was some excitement in the sky when a fighter jet came over the house very low from southeast to northwest. About 5 minutes later, it was headed south, but much higher, still not as high as commercial planes, and a CF-18 was chasing after it. The CF-18 turned toward the base to the east when it was midway across Lake Ontario while the other jet continued south. I guess then it became an American problem. Of course we will never hear what was going on.
It was so slow yesterday (I think I only had 3 beeps all day long - although I did have several people call me on teams - for problems I couldn't do anything about - like telephones) so I ran over to the LYS at lunch. The owner helped me pick out colours, which is good because DD says I'm terrible with colour. So I cast on and knit some (without a gauge swatch)
Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is... (show quote)

Your project will have to give you your the gauge.

We had a terrible, awful, dangerous, thunder, lightning, rain, and wind storm last night. Thankfully our electric lines are buried and we have power. Area are without power this a.m. Trees down, cars and houses damaged. Tornadoes were mentioned but not confirmed. Today's temperature is 66 f (19 c) Yesterday it was 100 f. A great change in temperatures really spawns awful storms.

Darn! So sorry to hear that, Jacky! I've had that happen before and it's very frustrating. I hope they can figure something out soon so you can get the answers you need. xxxooo

That's what I do also, I only answer numbers that I know, and check for messages once the caller has hung up. If I know the messenger; then I will get back to them; but the rest are reported to the Scam Watch people! xoxoxo
