The single port, no perch feeders are ideal for photographing hummingbirds. There is no doubt where the bird will feed and it's in the air all the time when feeding...just like feeding from a flower.

Great shot. I don't like the gravity fed feeders because in extreme hot weather the mixture expands seeping out of the ports attracting all kinds of insects.
