It's here again so post up any new shots, any leftovers or anything your particularly proud of that we need to see. It's Free Sunday so you know what to do. Would like to see anything new you've learned in post processing if you'ld care to share.
I'll start with what startled us out of our chairs the other morning.
I saw this tattered old sign newly placed in front of our house when I got the paper the other morning.

A little later a lot of noise got us out of our chairs to see what was going on outside....

Google Fiber is in the neighborhood and they are laying cable!

When my little biddy from across the street turned 3 she got a gently used "kick bike". Well, about everything she owns is also previously owned. Her mom has a good network of mom's that buy or trade kids cloths and other things.
Learning to ride a bike has its up and downs. This is one of the downs.
It didn't take too long to get the hang of it.
She now owns the sidewalk.
By mid summer she was ready for a real bike. Also a used bike.
After a half hour or so, she was on her own. She road to the end of the block, turned around and road back.
After about 2 weeks, she had it figured out. At 3 1/2 she now owned the sidewalk and road. She's now a biker.
After nearly 20 years, I finally decided to replace an old leather sofa that had begun to sag noticeably. I'm so used to sofas being... sofas, that the new one astounds me with its modern approach. The old one was a seat. This one is a control center! (That's the old one to the right; it's being donated to charity).
