On the golf course, MacDill Airforce Base.
A different perspective compared to my first post on this subject.
Sometimes it takes a hammer to the side of the head to see what is right in front of me.
I really like these but I'm soliciting input just to see if I'm crazy!
It won't hurt my feelings if you don't like them...well, maybe it will. But I can handle it.

Your highlights are blown on all of these. I've noticed this before, but said nothing. That's the most glaring problem. Other things are more to your personal taste.

Yes, I know. Please point out any other faults, glaring or otherwise. I'm still learning! I posted these as is more for the perspective change than for the esthetics. I struggle with blown highlights all the time. Sometimes I get lucky. I do the bare minimum of post processing and will continue to do so. If I don't get it right pretty much sooc I usually don't post it and go back out for another try!

I agree with K.T. good subjects but you missed on the exposure. Try using spot metering and meter on the brightest white in the picture

Very nice, I haven't seen any spoonies up here in Carrollwood(about 15mi north of MacDill) in a few years now!

Nice set!
But difficult to concentrate on, the reflections detract from the birds and vice versa.

Ok, thanks Jack. I'll give that a try. But again, what I was interested in was thoughts on the perspective on these. It almost looks like those photos from someone in the water who holds the lens halfway in the water and halfway out.

Thank you, Frank. Your comments like this are what I'm looking for with this set! I've deleted a bunch of them and cropped out the bottom half of a bunch more just for that reason. But taking a second look, I started appreciating the different perspective. They almost look like a above water/ below water shot. I kinda like them!
