I was in Orlando this past week and had a day to visit the KSC, something I've wanted to do for many years. While I've attached a photo of the Atlantis Shuttle. I realize that no photos, no videos, nothing other than physically standing next to it gives you a sense of the scale...massive. I thought it was about the size of a Lear Jet, but it was substantially larger.

Seen different ones in other places, but those are huge. Great shot!

Cool, thanks. I twice saw the Endeavour Shuttle in Los Angeles. It is huge and yet a 747 Jet is larger!

Took the tour awhile ago. Well worth the money. They had an Apollo era Saturn V rocket suspended from the ceiling. Talk about feeling small…..My wife was part of the Planning and Integration Team at Kennedy Space Center (KSC). They controlled all aspects of space shuttle prep…from landing until launch. What a great time to be working there. We, as Americans, really lost out when the space shuttle program closed without a replacement.

That’s nothing compared to the Enterprise!

We took the tour last February - amazing exhibitions! Got to see a Space-X launch as well.
