Larry, our usual host, is enjoying graduation and it's festivities for one of his granddaughters. I'm a poor sub for Larry and his sense of humor BUT HEY....

It's FREE SUNDAY - the day to post your latest photo accomplishments on any subject. I'll drop in when I can.

A week ago a friend and I visited a nearby state park on the Maine coast. A beautiful spot.

A while back, my wife and I just had to get away from the crappy weather for several hours. We zipped over to the botanical garden in Spokane, WA to get a little taste of spring. Obviously we took our cameras.

WOW, Gary! Have never seen plants like the first two. SO beautiful and unique. One of my friends here moved from Spokane several years ago. Seems the weather can be depressing at times.

The calla lily and the cactus are the only ones I recognize - the rest are totally unique!

I was playing around with my 105 macro Z lens and thought Sarah's old punch buggy would be a good subject.

Thank you so much. You never see this stuff in a back yard garden, certainly not in my garden. That's why go the the botanical garden several times a year.
Thanks again for your wonderful comments. Gary K
