From the DEEP South - approx. 20 miles east of the capitol city of Mississippi - Jackson
I cannot remember my first camera, but I have kept my first 35mm, an Argus C3 match-matic. I have enjoyed UHH for quite a years and have had reservations about posting my photos after viewing so many wonderful ones on UHH! I have a number of 35 mm Nikons and my favorite digital was a D70s which gave up the ghost a number of years ago. Our son suggested a D7200 as a replacement which has turned out to be great. The D70s went with the wife and I on many trips in our motor home covering 49 states, and all but two of the Canadian provinces (2 trips to both Alaska and Nova Scotia). It made two trips to Africa and five to Costa Rica with me on mission trips. The D70s went with me on a three week hiking trip in the Swiss Alps (three full weeks of hiking). It also made two European river cruises with the wife and I. My next adventure is attempting to post a few photos of native azaleas which are in our front yard.

Let me tell you now...Your photos will look magical after 11 years of seeing my pathetic efforts here. Bring 'em on!
They'll be great post away.
This too....I'm your next door neighbor, in Alabama and it's nice to see another "DEEP SOUTH" member here.
One of the things I like best about this forum is that I get to see so many places on this beautiful earth that I will never see in person, so I think I can safely say we'll all be anxious to see what you bring.
Thanks to all for your kind replies. We had terrible storms yesterday beginning around 3 pm and lasting till almost midnight yesterday - 4/13/22.
Nice to have you aboard! I also am in the deep south, heart of dixie, Alabama.
Welcome to the Forum, Edwin, enjoy.
