Thanks Longshadow, I appreciated your comment. And yep, Summer here is "kinda" hot, humid and miserable and hard to adapt when you move down from New Hampshire. But at 78 yrs old when I weigh between going back to the most beautiful Fall Seasons in US and "moving" lots of snow from my driveway for 3 to 4 months of the year to sweating it out down here near Tampa, I still think in moving back up north and risking my marriage "cause" my Lady hates snow for more than one weekend and me... I love her more than I love the snow, so here I am.....
Thanks Longshadow, I appreciated your comment. And... (show quote)

Great shot!

(I lived in Florida for 27 years. Got tired of sweating to death outside for 10 months out of the year.
In PA again.)

I lived in Florida for only about two and a half years. Got chased out by a medium powered hurricane in 1986. I went to Michigan, later Wisconsin and now in Pennsylvania for the past 25 years.

I was in Florida in 1986. I survived Charlie, Frances, and Jean in 2004 (All in 5 weeks.). Charlie clobbered the snot out of Central Florida! It took months to recover. The eye came right up 17-92 in Orlando.
First time I ever saw a tree mulcher. The largest "garbage disposal" I ever saw! They put whole trees in it.

Beautiful shot! Also one of the reasons I retired to FL - Tampa as a matter of fact.

I would prefer Tennessee, Kentucky, or western N. Carolina as a compromise between the weather in Florida and the weather here in Massachusetts. I find the winters way too long here in New England.

I kinda agree with you I lived in TN for several years (Nashville, Springfield and Smithville and I loved, but dduring the Winter any small amount of snow snarls the traffic everywhere - they are not prepared to deal with any amount of snow. And due to the state being quite hilly, it's an ongoing issue. Also, the majority of timers is freezing rain that falls what is an even bigger issue than snow. And they only clean the major highways and roads to hospitals, police stations and major cities; the rest ......
