Thank you, Mike! Your post from the other day had me thinking B&W again. It is a medium that I really like, but have almost abandoned in this age of digital cameras.

Many thanks, Joe! I was intending to drive out there again this weekend, but our temperatures are extremely cold right now ( around - 20F with windchills of - 40F), so I decided against it. It is a kittle over an hour's drive away and I've been hoping for a nice snowfall to freshen things up and make it more picturesque. We are expecting a winter storm tomorrow, so maybe after that will be a more propitious time. Forty years ago I wouldn't have hesitated, but in my old age comfort and risk have become more important factors.

Thank you very much for stopping by and commenting, Sylvia! I drove out there a year ago, but due to a cold snap, the river was completely frozen over and covered with snow. so I came away disappointed. I am afraid that I may have the same experience again this year. It is to be determined whether or not I have the power to persuade the gods to duplicate the conditions I experienced at the time these photos were taken (LOL).

I have every confidence you can do it John.
