Slowly more raptors are arriving in the Dakotas from their breeding grounds in far northern climates. Although Bald Eagles, Golden Eagles, and Red-tailed Hawks are year round residents, I always await the arrival of Rough-legged Hawks, Ferruginous Hawks and the on rare occasion Snowy Owls. One of these days I may actually photograph a Snowy Owl. In the meantime, some photos of our hawk visitors.
Well done.
