Tonight we heard the dogs start barking in the backyard. I went to check it out and turned on the back floodlight and saw a bandit peeking over the wall. Without warning he tried to climb over the wall and up the telephone pole. Not until the bandit got further up the pole did I see his twin already perched up there staring and hissing at me. I ran in the house and quickly grabbed my Nikon D850 the 70-200 and a flash. I had enough time to also grab the Nikon 200-500.
Nice set. Coons can be troublesome.
Well done set - they can be BIG trouble!

Photojournalism with a happy ending. Nice touch, nice photos.
If they ever get across the wrong two wires — exploded coon. Heard a bang once and when I could get a view, not much left for the coyotes and vultures, although a bit overdone.
Dangerous place to snooze. But cute!
