suddenly blocked

Apparently UHH changed some settings, and suddenly Chrome and my web checker blocked UHH across my devices. If you have had this happen, try going in using HTTP not with the S. I know if you can read this you aren't blocked, but if you have personal contact info with other hoggers, let them know. Or if it happens, keep this in mind. Edge did not block the site.

On another note, as I was Googling about UHH, I noted that there are many scam checkers that have UHH flagged as unsafe, citing it as not a trusted seller!!

I have no problem accessing UHH with either Safari or Chrome.
Perhaps it's your "web checker." Which one are you using?

I use TotalAV. I was finally able to whitelist the website on my PC and tablet (Chrome) but it has been a hassle on my cell phone. TotalAV is very aggressive.

The only problem I have had lately is that my spell and grammar checker has stopped working with UHH.

Should be ok on all browsers - some check for SSL and the UHH certificate in valid. Check for the little padlock in address bar. All looks good to me - https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/

UHH is the best place there is to find references for trusted sellers. UHH is not a seller

Had a similar problem with spell checker not working. Try just left-clicking once on the word. That worked for me.

Months ago this happened to me using Netzero. Thought the Admin had dropped me. Emailed Admin and they said that it was at Netzero's end and they knew not why. Then a day or two later it was OK. Wrote Admin and asked what happen, answer: Netzero quit blocking.

I have not gotten the weekly emails from Surplus shed for over a year, yet get the special notices. Wife get notices fine on same system. Similar problems with Wolfram, hour with their support could never determine what's happening, get emails from some at company, not others, same systems at both ends?

Be sure somehow not moved to your blocked list, otherwise good luck and hope.

For some reason, I don’t get emails notifying me that a new response has been posted to something I’m interested in. I contacted admin, and my email address is good, because I get the daily UHH notification.

I'll try it. But it was nice of it to automatically tell me when my fingers got crossed on the keyboard.

Due to the long period of short staffing and a lot of computer tech/code writer types working from home with gear not up to their office standards and it being harder to cooperate with each other (thanks Covid) a lot of sites are getting real buggy. And a lot of bored types are turning from "White Hat" to Black or at least Grey Hat hackers to kill time.

You might check with Admin to see if they can assist you.

Have been using computers since dos 3.1. Have had only two real viruses, the first thing each of them did was destroy my antivirus ( Norton ). That was some years ago. I don't have any antivirus other than what comes with win 10, however, i do run malware-bytes scan once in a while ( never picks up any thing ). I have come to think that most of the problems folks have with their computers is caused by running what they think is protection. Just my opinion.
