I began watching a Norwegian series on Netflix last night - "Nobody Dies in Skarnes." I'm glad I started watching it - oddly amusing.
By coincidence, I asked about several people who died of Covid in the neighboring town. I know at least three people from that town who died of Covid, but the town's fatality count is still 0. Someone told me that they died in hospitals in other counties, so they didn't die in that town. However, I just realized that five people died in my town, and the count is listed as 5, even though there is no hospital in my town. Could it be that all the town deaths refer to people who died at home?
Anyway, since the neighboring town has no hospital, it's unlikely that many people would die there. The town's slogan could be "Nobody dies in Shandaken."
