I have a Nikon D5600 and D7200. I want to replace my 55-300mm kit zoom and am interested in:
Nikon 18-300
Sigma 18-300
Tamron 18-300
Tamron 18-400
Anyone have advice?
I have been pleased with the Tamron 18-400 on a D7100.

Go with the Nikon!
I agree, my 18-300mm Nikon works very well.
I have two Sigma zoom lenses and one prime lens. I am very happy with all of them. I also have three Nikon zoom lenses and to be honest, I can't see any difference in quality between the Sigmas and Nikons. The only suggestion I would have for you is to find out which way the zoom ring turns on any independent lens maker's zooms. The ring on one of my Sigma zooms rotates the opposite way as all my other zooms. While this isn't a huge problem for me, I can see where it might be if you have to zoom fast and instinctively move it in the wrong direction.
I have the 18-300 and its my primary walk around lens. Been very satified.
Forgot to mention mine is the Nikon

Take a look at the FF 28-300 for extra reach.
Go with the Nikon 18-300 if you must have just one lens. You don't mention if you also have the 18-55 kit lens, but, with those two cameras, do you now have one lens on the D5600, and the other on your D7200? Is that set-up not working for you? It only takes seconds to change lenses, and each will be lighter and possibly sharper as they have less zoom range.
I use Nikon 18-300 as my walk around lens and usually have it on my D7500 while the D5500 usually has the Nikkor 200-500. I may have been ok with the Tamron 18-400 in lieu of either of my lenses.
Try renting the lens first. The Full Frame lens are usually better quality and sharper. Rent one and see how you like the lens. A FF lens will give you the FOV of a 450 mm lens so you will do less cropping and the picture will be sharper. Try it you will like it.

Some thoughts on these: The 55-300 is approx. a 5.75 X zoom, the others are (18-300) 16.6 X and (18-400) 22 X zooms. This is a huge step in zoom range, and can cause issues - due to design comprimises, some of which can be mitigated. Depending on intended use: I think any you mention are fine for general photography. I do have the first 3 in your list (multiple copies for diff. lens mounts), but have not yet bit on the 18-400, no longer have the 55-300 (mine did not make me happy). If you want "one lens that does it all" any of the four are workable...try before you buy, or buy from an "easy returns" source in case you are not happy. My feeling is that they will match or best the 55-300 in general usage and convenience.
I have the Nikon 18-300 and the Tamron 18-400. I had the 55-300 kit lens...
I am happy with both the Nikon and Tamron lenses but for different reasons...the Nikon is a little sharper and the
Tamron obviously has more reach but is a bit softer...I have not yet taken the Tamron on a trip or used it very much but plan to this spring...

Nikon for the potentially better AF. Consider the latest full frame Nikon 70-300 if IQ is a priority.
