50mm f/1.4 AF Nikon normal lens.
Lens is in very good condition.
Does not auto focus with FTZ adapter for Z cameras. Not sure why not.
$130 including shipping within the continental lower United States.
PM with any questions.

All Nikkor AF and AF-D lens mechancially focus using a gear on the face of the mount to engage with the focus drive motor in most bodies - AF Film bodies, Dx models, Dxxx models (both crop and full-frames), D7xxx models. Even the D70, D80 and D90 series. Not sure of the D50.
Models like the D3xxx and D5xxx and the current mirrorless can only natively focus AF-S (Silent Wave) lenses which have the drive motor in the lens itself. The focus is controlled through the copper contacts at the bottom of the lens mount. Hence the reason why you can't AF with your FTZ adaptor.
There is no problem with your lens.

Thank you for that explanation.
I wasn't concerned about the lens because it works just fine on my D850 and I used it on my D3x and D4 etc.
Figured it had something to do with the difference in technology.

It works on the three cameras you mention because they all have AF motors built in the bodies to turn the screw AF drive in the lens.
Anyone who buys your lens will need one of Nikon's cameras with an in body focus motor or will have to resort to manual focus only.
Most of the less expensive Nikons do not have the built in focus motor. The FTZ adapter lacks a motor as well. Nikon may never come out with an FTZ adapter with a motor due to cost and size...and they would rather have you buy new Z lenses.
Nonetheless, yours is a nicely maintained lens at a very good price. I have the slightly newer 50mm f/1.4D that works just fine on my D610.
You can pm me if any questions.
I would like to purchase your Nikon lens if it is still available. Please advise.
