Planning to sell it to anyone within US (preferably in NJ). I googled and found that someone was selling at $342.

One data point is useless. Suggest you research sold listings on eBay.

I just sold a D7100 with 6,483 shutter count to MPB and got $260. Doesn't matter what they are selling it for, what people are buying it for, is what matters. Doubt you will see $350. Check B&H, KEH, MPB for realistic quotes. They set the market.

Used Photo Pro as well.
My experience has been that Craig's List and Facebook Marketplace asking prices are overblown plus you have no idea what the actual selling prices were.

"...Suggest you research sold listings on eBay..." Absolutely Great Idea kmielen!
eBay is my preferred platform to buy and sell... KEH, B&H, Roberts, mpb all take advantage of the naive and/or lazy... I have had conversations with some of their sales reps... Who have honesty disclosed that they will only offer 60% of current market values at best... (provided that the item is in strong demand). I certainly can appreciate that.

After a quick canvass of eBay "Selling Price" of Nikon D7100s they are currently selling between $209 and $400... Below I've posted one which validates the OP's asking price in this thread. Also please keep in mind that eBay takes ~ 12.55% cut of the transaction... so the seller only received $318 on this item... I should start selling on UHH... lol

And Amazon may be a tad better by only takes 10% for any portion of the total sales price greater than $250 up to $1,000 however it takes 15% for the portion of the total sales price up to $250. Then again I believe it still has a "special" Professional plan which costs $39.99 per month no matter how many units you sell. Albeit fee structures seem to change with the phases of the moon... seriously dynamic...

btw Happy Birthday AzYooper! and "yes Octogenarians Rule..." Wishing you many more Happy Returns on your journey to become a Centenarian!
Please enjoy your epic D850! Thanks!
Cheers! Thomas

"...they are getting close to 15% now..." Oh my goodness coj I'm thinking they may be following Amazon fee structure now of 15% Seems the only thing constant is "change" in this dynamic market place.

Thanks again for the update coj

Thanks, Thomas902. I take the Octogenarian badge as an honor that many of my peers were never privileged to experience. I am already past the expiration date for average American males. The D850 is the best camera that I ever owned. So much so, I just bought a second one when Nikon discounted it, last month.

Right on, eBay is an increasingly expensive way to sell. 14% in fees on my last few sales. What bugs me more is that the fee is charged on shipping. I try to be reasonable and NOT make shipping a profit center. Looking at many other listings, I must conclude I am in the minority with that.

This is why that happens...unscrupulous dears (coin sellers) were selling an item for $1 and charging $19.99 for shipping when shipping was not included in the fees. Ebay got wise to that scam and now we all suffer from it.
