I have had a fairly broad range of sporting events this year. Here are some from the last few months. I have the Auto Zone Liberty Bowl to close out the year left. And a few D1 Basketball games. It was a great year for sports.

These are REALLY nice photos. Good stuff, I like the barrels racing the most. Don't get to see that very much here. Please post more of that. Thanks BE SAFE!!

Absolutely beautiful. Perhaps you would pass some tips on getting sports photographs sharp. I have only just come across you. Where have I been you may ask?

I use the Canon 1DX bodies and the photos are a mixture of Canon 70-200 F 2.8 IS ii, 24-105 F4 and 300 F 2.8 lenses. The indoor barrel race was strobed. As far as sharpness goes I try to hit mid mass. Internally in the camera body I have the noise filter turned to high and the sharpness adjusted 3 stops over standard. The camera does a better job in noise reduction and sharpening than software. Have faith in your gear, let it do the work. Get it close as you can in camera.

Thanks for the information and the F2.8 lens also helps.

I treat every shot like a trophy hunt. Your work isn't bad at all either.

Great shots! What was the outcome of the player from Texas Tech trying to catch the ball? Did it drop into his waiting hands, or crash into his face guard?
