Had an hour or so to kill this afternoon, so I drove out to our local set of falls, about 5 - 10 minutes from where I live. By 2:30 p.m. the sun is already quite low. There is a hydro generating plant at the falls, and so much of the water is usually diverted to the channel with the turbine, resulting in low water levels below the falls. Temperatures have been quite cold the last few days, with lows around 20F and highs around the freezing mark. Here are a few photos from this afternoon.
