Currently working on Man's Loop and Hat (only making the hat), https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/r0055---mens-loop-and-hat

Will do a few more, including October Hat, https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/october-hat-3
and probably a couple more (including a two-color brioche) but not sure which ones yet.

I have a bunch of hats in my queue. I should be doing more. Hats are a great way to try out new brioche patterns.

We just discovered another version of the Delta variant. No data yet on whether it is more contagious.

Good morning from a 48F and still dark Aguila area. No plans again today, so will see comes along. Will keep working on the hats I'm knitting. Have 3 completed and one more almost finished. Went into Wickenburg yesterday for a few errands and lunch out at one of the pizza places there. I hope you all are having a good day/afternoon/evening. xxxooo

I like doing shawls. I don't know why. But they seem to be the only things that I actually finish.

We have javelinas here in Arizona. Have had them come through our property. Here's the definition of them: Javelina (Tayassu tajacu) also known as collared peccary, are medium-sized animals that look similar to a wild boar. They have mainly short coarse salt and pepper colored hair, short legs, and a pig-like nose. The hair around the neck/shoulder area is lighter in color giving it the look of a collar. Javelina have long, sharp canine teeth which protrude from the jaws about an inch.

They can be quite nasty so best to avoid them. xxxooo

I'm hoping that the black bears in this area keep those wild boars in Pickering away from here. I like walking in the woods and wouldn't want something with a bad temper in the woods with me. The bears have enough sense to avoid people. I've spooked deer and a moose. Moose run funny.

The garbagemen's truck is outside making a lot of noise.
I've caught up to myself so I'm going to sign off. I think the socks are going to stay in timeout today.
Everyone have a good day and stay safe.

Why? Did you run out of clothes or towels?

DH is running short on a few things, I don't know how he gets through so many clothes, I've not noticed he changes them a few times a day but it certainly looks like it. xx

Good morning all from a bright and sunny London, we have 12'C but for some reason, we didn't put the heating on!

Not feeling 100% today, a little dizzy now and then and I have a headache. It may still be too much screen time so I'm closing down now, be back when I feel better!!

Have a great day, be safe and have fun!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Good morning my dear friend. I am always concerned when someone says they have symptoms that might be covid related. I know you are careful and take precautions. Is the double vision in your eye what you think is causing the issues? Hoping whatever it is clears up and does not cause any more issues. 💖🥰

It's entirely up to you, you can do what you want when you want, everything will still be there tomorrow. You wouldn't think he knew what we had in the freezer, ask him what shall we have for dinner tomorrow and the first thing he always say is fish and he's never been a big fish eater just can't be bothered to check what we've got. xx

You are so right. And tomorrow I will do the same things all over again. I now have my daily ritual of chores accomplished for today. Ran into a snag. The roomba caught a piece of yarn from a blanket laying half off the bed. It twisted it 200 times around the brushes. Strong motor to twist it that much, thankfully the yarn was stronger and did not break. Need to replace the brush, but it needed replacing any way. It has been working every day for 5 or 6 years so it deserves a break.
I give Harold options. Otherwise I know he will say taco's or goola goola dish.

Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is 6:46 am EST and -2'C (28'F), going up to double-digits today but with rain.
One of my more excitable co-workers contacted me just before the end of work yesterday with a problem that she said "affected everyone". It seemed something changed yesterday and some of our software that talks to the province wasn't working. (It affected 28 people). We tested out a fix but it was too late in the day to fix all the affected people, so I left the fix with the people on the late shift. So this morning I get to see the results.
The Bank of Canada is talking about raising rates to "fight inflation". So making everyone pay more for interest payments will make everything cheaper????? Who went to that finance class?
Our new covid number is 481 with 2 deaths. Positivity rate is 2.5%. Our local website has not been updated.
This province vaccinated 13K people yesterday. This area vaccinated 181 people. Still no word on when the children can be vaccinated, despite Health Canada saying that approval would come this week. Only 2 more days left.
I second guessed my knitting last night. I thought my gusset was going to be too long so I speeded up the increases, making a quickly rising gusset. Well I should have stayed with the original plan, because I turned the heel and the sock was an inch too short. I've frogged back the heel turn and now I have to go back an inch in a very patterned instep. I was so frustrated that I got more yarn from downstairs. Luckily it was close to bedtime so I couldn't start anything else.

The talk around here was with the children vaccinated the number of cases would go down. That has not proven to be true. Numbers are going up. Son and his wife did everything right and still got sick. Yesterday was a bit better for them. Hoping today they are even better.

Pick one chore. That should be enough

The chore that is bothering me is washing the outside of the kitchen cabinets. It seems they all got messy overnight. One day they were clean and the next day I saw prints on all of them. Funny thing is they do not clean themselves.

Didn't buy any wings last shopping weekend. I like turkey wings. You get more meat. Wings really are just an excuse to eat sauce.

You message made me go and check the availability of turkey wings. Only smoked ones are listed, not what I want. Ever notice most of the time chicken has a sauce, coating, or in a recipe with bacon, cheese, etc. Chicken, to me is basically tasteless and needs a sauce, coated or added ingredients to make it tasty.

Very nice. I like that butterfly hat in the striped yarn.

I make and gift that hat a lot because of the symbolism of the butterfly. I like to put a bead where I gather the 5 yarns to make the butterfly.

Right you've got me there, what's goola goola? Don't give mine a choice, if he can't be bothered to see what we've got he'll have what I get out. Mutton chops tomorrow. Have finished my chores for the day, will now sit back and have a knitting afternoon with perhaps a few necessary phone calls thrown in. xx
