I like SciFi so: (Creat 52 on Face Book the weeks them is transform an everyday object into something else)
On a planet where the plants are mobile and some are predators a great herd beast plods along when a pack of predators suddenly attacks from the blue shadows of twilight.
Turning a dandelion into SciFi creatures.

a focus stack using very weak flash on a table top studio setup, the ground and background are a blue surgical hand towel
That is really an interesting image that you have created. Do you do much work in this genre? If so, can you post others?
This is really wild! I love it!

Thank you, I do macro periodically and table top macro I do a spate every other year or so. I have others from this session, I will go through them and post a few. - when the session started the dandelions were puff balls and gradually shed parts as I worked. When I first saw this one propped up on its leaves looking like legs and the stem like a tail my first thought was "dinosaur". I have one that was still in the yard that I thought "Death Star Exploding" when I saw it.
I am about due and have been accumulating items for macro - dried flowers, leaves, feathers, a dried butterfly, etc. The butterfly is a monarch almost 40 years old-our oldest found it dead and dried in our flower bed when he was 8 or 9 and he is 46 - I have used it in two different glass enclosed dried flower arrangements for my wife over the years. etc.
I like it very much, thanks.
