These houses are located in Heritage Park in Corpus Christ, Texas. They were moved to this location as a cultural center and are used to host events. You can read about individual houses by following the attached link. I hope you enjoy the photos and thanks for looking.

Very nice night time shots of those gorgeous antique houses, Dan!

Those wrap around porches were quite popular in the times when those houses were being built. It’s an amenity that is totally absent in today’s traditional home designs. These days people’s outdoor spaces are on the back of the house, behind privacy fences. We rarely see our neighbors nowadays as we walk our neighborhoods. We’ve lost our sense of community because of it, IMO.

Excellent photos of some fine, well maintained old homes. The strings of lights are detestable, IMO. Porches like these were still living spaces into the early to mid '50's and lasted till air conditioning became common in homes. In Victorian days there were even second story sleeping porches for use on hot nights.

Excellent shots of fine old Victorians and thanks for posting (and I agree with QD about the lights). One of my regrets in life is never owning a Victorian house such as my grandmother’s (complete with turret) where I often spent summers as a child. The closest I have come is restoring a 1920 Dutch Colonial.

Nice set of homes.
I enjoy looking at Victorian homes almost as much as I love living in one.
