I've been trying to find the name for these critters and have not been successful. Perhaps one of our more enlightened members could help. I tried the Merlin app and the closest they came was a Snow Goose. Not it. I found nothing with the same markings around the eyes in the Audubon books I have either.

I went through this last year and I also think they are Muscovy Ducks.

These appear to support the Muscovy duck reply. It seems the white patches can appear anywhere like a cat.

I would venture a guess that agrees with the Muscovy, but add that they could be the progeny of a cross between that breed and perhaps a domestic. I’ve seen those crosses before on farms.

Thanks for all the response’s. I tend to agree with the Muscovy Ducks ID. I probably skipped right over the Muscovy duck because the markings were so different in the field guide. 🤭
