Why do corporations even create different things for different areas of the world? Make ONE camera, for crying out loud, then all you need to do is change the language type in the settings. I mean, why make it so darn difficult?

I have 3 Canons and all kinds of lens and no problems. Take care of you equipment and you won't be needing repairs.

They do not really make different cameras. (sometimes they do but this thread is not about it). What they do is having different prices, different warranty and policy in different countries.

I have bought a few previously owned lens ,posted for sale here. They Have served me well and still serving my needs. its the chance you take Maybe I was just lucky. But i have no complaints. i bought them used so I will not have a warrantee. if I should ever need repair. I have access to some competent service people. it all in the chance you take and who you trust buying from.

Since you have another better place where you're Lord and God, and worshipped in the way you sorely need, why don't you go there and leave us peons alone here in our filth?

I take care of my equipment and my Canon 77D needed new shutter and viewfinder, under
20 000 clicks for sure. Some things just break

I took good care of my camera but the meter died at 5000 clicks.

It is a funny thing about eletronics. If they don't break down in the first 3 months, usually you will get many years of trouble free service.

Nope although at 5000 clicks it was more than 4 year old. I did take very good care of it. I didn't use it a lot as you can see.

I guess it was a bad copy. I have Canon 7D MKll with 645,000 clicks. Go figure.

Sometimes, you put posts on here that seem to be quite informative, then, at times, you ruin your image (in my eyes!) when you make statements like you did in this post. I would think you would know that Canon and Nikon both produce outstanding gear. I find it distasteful for anyone to so blatantly put down Nikon and, in effect, Nikon users. I may not be the awesome photographer you are, and I surely am not the "all knowing, intelligent person" you like to portray. But, I would not put down any camera brand or any user of a camera brand as you have done repeatedly. I put very little faith in what you say anymore. Oh, and by the way, I started out my "hobby" of photography with Canon gear. I switched to Nikon, and never looked back, I am perfectly satisfied with Nikon, understanding that I will never reach your stature as a photographer. Have a good day, Sir.

I don't take such comments personally, I thought he was just having fun. I use mostly Nikon.

I bought Nikon because, well, because I thought it looked and felt better than other cameras. To me, it looked and felt like the hotrod of cameras. That's it. Didn't try any other brand at the time. What do ya say to that! LOL

No insult or backhand intended. That's just what I did when I was young and just didn't even consider any other brand until recently when I was seriously thinking of moving to Sony mirrorless. In the end, I stuck with Nikon.

I'm not rich, but if I were, I'd buy them all!
