https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8EqzwfbUeEI received a gift yesterday: the goop from the filter of my granddaughter's salt water aquarium. I was eager to take a look under the microscope. There were no recognizable ciliates in the sample I looked at. The outstanding life were some kind of arthropod type organisms unhappily writhing under my slide cover glass (about .2 mm in size--possibly visible to the sharp naked eye). The cyanobacteria were very active, and the larger diatoms were chugging along.
Excellent work, I miss doing it.

Why don't you start?
I have other higher priorities. Plus it wouldn't be the same as when I had access to a Zeiss desktop photo microscope.
