My cousin, a former business owner who gave up her camera, offered me her Image Prograf W6400 for free if I could fix it up. Last used circa 2014-15. She figures the ink nozzles are dried up but it's mine for the taking if I want it. I have a PIXMA Pro 100 for my own needs otherwise.

Looking at Canon's support page for the model, do I want this printer?

It is a good wide format printer and they sell print heads. I replaced the print heads on a 13x19 HP once but then a few months later the rubber rollers that fed the paper died (the LA area smog is murder on rubber). So I went looking and Canon had a sale on Pro-100s and I got one of them for $150 with a $75 gift card good for ink and paper from Canon and gave the HP to a repair shop to use for parts. The last few years they seem to have found a rubber for those rollers that is smog resistant.

+1 for the Canon PP 100. Despite sporadic printing, excellent. The ink is pricey, but there are / were often free paper deals. I have a lot of free Canon paper!
