What kind of fool buys a $6000 camera when he can spend that on a good fishing adventure? Seriously though, I imagine that the camera is spectacular in every way. If I were in the business of photography, need low light capabilities, sports, etc. I'd go for it. And I'm happy to see innovation in the photog world. In the mean time, there are big fish to be caught.
When I wrote "wow" I was really referring to the capabilities of the camera rather than the price. But I can see how it can refer to both.
With the ISO capabilities I would think you could take great pictures in very low light. Maybe one could night fish and get a great photo of his or her fish.
The best scenario is to have the money and the time to photo and fish. I don't have time to do either. Well, I do to a certain extent. But I am just very impressed with the apparent capabilities of this camera.
I am a little bit surprised, but not too much, that the megapixel count is only 24.1. But it is my experience that the mexapixel count isn't much of the story in determining the value of the picture. Anything over 18 megapixels I think has the ability to take great pictures. On the other hand, with the wonderful capabilities of the camera I do wonder why they didn't also bump the megapixel count up to at least 34. Well. I have no doubt that it is going to be a great camera. I wonder if it will be so popular that it is hard to keep it in stock?
