The camera has been on the shelf for a month and a half as we make a slooow move from rural to urban living for the first time since college years. I stepped out our new front door this morning, and picked up the camera.

Not my doing, Mike, but our daughters could have done a whole lot worse. They've been after us for several years to move in. Not very far in miles, but a long way in life-style.

Be nice to your daughters, Neil, they will pick your nursing home (LOL).

Thank you, Outback. Another lucky random moment in time. I'll be looking at sun rise time by intent more often from now on.

Thank you, joecichjr. Now to start looking at The Photographers Ephemeris more often now that I have a decent view to the east.

It took me 30 years to get out of the city, no way in H@@@ I'm going back !!!but then all of my girls live in the country and one within a mile of me.

Thank You for the comments, Frank. This city of 20,000 is the largest I've lived in, in my life. One of my girls is now about 5 blocks away. One redeeming factor is I now have the option of sitting at the window and shoot eagles or herons passing by.

Nice pano. I would recommend cloning out the wires.

Thanks for your comments, Ballard. It does look like a pano, doesn't it. Just a crop from the rectangular frame. Would you believe I've already taken some out. The rest will follow when I'm ready to print.
