Hadn't been out there in long time, no smoke and a pretty day. Loaded the front seat of the truck with cameras and off I went. This makes the previous areas look overpopulated. A few photos, mostly the D3 and AF S Nikkor 24 85 1:3.5 4.5 G. Not a lot to show for a long drive, on top of that, even though I was taking it easy, my windshield decided to crack!

Nice wide open country, QD. You might look up Capt. Tolley’s Creeping Crack Cure. Used to use it on the fiberglass of our boat and used it on windshield chips. Seems to work pretty well.

Thanks very much for looking and for the suggestion. The windshield was already on the list to replace since I'm giving the truck a rehab. I plan to keep driving it till one of us passes on!

Thanks, people sometimes manage, though, far from help.

Very appealing shots. I could be happy living there.

Thank you! I'd find the flat lands harsh, though our best friends live happily in the same geography a little farther north. I've gotten used to the canyons - still plenty of elbow room. I suppose if i'd lived out there from the beginning...
