Nikon 35mm f/1.4G for sale. The lens is in like new condition, rarely used because I found it more practical to carry the 24-70mm. The original soft case, lens cap (both ends) and lens hood are included. Also included is a 67mm Hoya clear protector filter. The lens is US warrantee. Asking price is $1050. Includes shipping. (Dusted the caps)
It pains me to se a lens in 'like new condition' exhibit so much dirt and debris on the lens caps and front and rear elements. A good cleaning job will be helpful with the sale.
Like new?? There is enough dust and dirt in the caps you could plant a garden! I personally wouldn't touch this lens.

Hardly used? hmmm? Maybe it was kept on a open shelf out of case.
What did they sell for new? You need to clean everything spotless for any sale let alone advertising , like new &, hardly used. Just MHO!

As far as I'm concerned this rates at the most a 5 out of 10 quality score. Probably less. Not well cared for and I would have to have a rock-solid guarantee that there is no mold in the lens.
You can return if you find mold or scratches or any other defect. The only comments in this thread have been about dust in the caps. That has been removed. No comments on the front or rear lens elements, which can be clearly seen through to the leaf shutter. No comments on the lens body, which is unmarked. The lens is stored in its soft case in a sealed bin along with ½ dozen other lenses, flashes, and other equipment. So put up or shut up.
Even after cleaning, the lens looks very well used. BobHartung gave it a 5 out of 10 rating. That was extremely generous. I have a couple of Nikkors that I purchased in the mid 70s that looks far better.
I don't know the OP but you guys are really hounding him. If you don't want it just move on. I have found the members to be honest people. So Caveat Emptor, and move along.
