Great photos of outrageously beautiful birds. In that phase we call them Wanbli Geleshka (Spotted Eagle).

The eagles in this series are all First Winter birds by their plumage. Thanx for viewing and commenting.

I'm just wondering why this is in the Analysis section. Was there a question? Seems like you have the BIF thing down pat. Nice shots.

This is amazing action on the young eagles. Great opportunity.

I am curious if you had to crop these images and why you shoot at f/8 for such small subjects. Depending on the distance I'd think you could shoot them at f/5.6 and drop the ISO. I don't know this lens so maybe the autofocus starts having trouble.

TIA

The sweet spot is f 8 for this glass. I often go down to f 5.6 when the light dictates. I try to keep shutter speed up, too!

Great shots. Love the sequence and clarity. Keep them coming. The nest I normally shot in Fl was destroyed by a tornado last spring and rebuilding is not occurring. Seems like the bird population where I’m at is down this year too

Thanx for viewing. The crazy weather must be wreaking havoc among our small bird population. We do see fewer 🐦:-(
