My Car Got a New Paint Job

Well maybe I am stretching the truth a bit. It's not my car and the paint job was courtesy of PS.

Wow Frank, if I had that car in 1959 chicks would be crawling in the windows How did you get a metallic color in PS?

Back in the 60's my cousin had one. Unfortunately it didn't look anything like this one. I am attaching a screen shot of my steps. The one gradient I used a legacy gradient and blend it as an overlay. I started to use a solid black color but I decided not to. You can see the layer is not active. Some times the black overlay works but i didn'tthink so this time

Jack, each gradient will give you a different look. It's a lot of fun without any heavy lifting involved. Let me know how you make out.

Just as well. Pearlised paint jobs are a nightmare to work with .
