I downloaded the Nikon software to use my D750 to stream on Zoom. I set the camera to the instructions at P and I get a message that my live screen does not function at current camera settings? fully charged battery as I thought that was the problem. I pluged my mini usb in next to the hdmi port which I read is output only.
when you hook up to your PC, Do you just hit record on the camera? Do you use the live screen?
Hi jbmauser,
Hook up the camera using the HDMI cable > the video capture device > USB cable into the computer's port. Turn on Zoom. Turn on your camera then open live view. On the Zoom screen, select the video up-arrow to get the video menu (lower left of the Zoom screen) and select your camera/capture device. You should see what you see on the camera's back screen. Set up your Zoom call then go to live streaming (lower right 3 dots). Tips: Must have a paid Zoom account to live stream to Facebook or YouTube (can't do both); select menu camera setting so the liveview never turns off; recommend getting a AC power adapter for your camera as Zoom/livestreaming eats up the batteries; if you think its important you can get an HD Account with Zoom (expensive). Good luck! Take care & ...
