Hi all,
I was going away for a weekend and wanted to work on some images while I'm away. So I imported set of pictures as a catalog from LrC on the iMac to a USB flash drive. During the weekend I worked on the catalog on the flash drive on my MacBook Pro (doing directly on the flash drive without copying the images/catalog to the hard drive). Now I am back home and want to merge the flash drive version back into main catalog on iMac with the editing I did.
I know how to merge catalogs in general but I didn't do it with catalogs that have the same images. I want to be sure that my changes from the flash drive applied to the images in the main catalog on iMac.
I probably could delete these images from the main catalog and the select Import From Another Catalog option. But there should be a better way, right? How do I import with the latest changes taking precedence?
Thank you in advance
Sergey
You can allow LR to treat any overlaps at virtual copies and create 'stacks'. Just place the flash-drive version within the resulting stack at the top of the stack. This option occurs when you use the File / Import from another catalog and point the import to the LRCAT on the flash drive.

Thank you Paul, it worked!
