Can anybody please shed some light on how one goes about installing Luminar Ai updates ? ... their website is a complete mystery to me ... I see NO options for updates ... I have the basic app which I use as a plug-in to Apple Photos... I may have figured out how to install the first update, but I cannot remember ... currently, update number 4 is available ... thanks in advance ...

I've never used the Skylum website that you mention and I don't have Luminar but I do have a suggestion. Most editors have HELP as one of the options in the line of menu selections along the top of the workspace and with most editors you find an "Updates" option within the HELP menu. If you have that option, clicking on it will initiate an automatic search for updates. You would have to be connected to the internet at the time.
The editor may or may not automatically install any updates. It may only download an update to your Downloads folder, in which case it would be up to you to install the update (which usually means double clicking on it and then following instructions).

When you open Luminar if there's an update available it should show up as a notice. At least mine does. It says there 's an update available and if I want to install it.

Or if it doesn't show up click on Luminar AI in the title bar at top of screen and you should get a drop down menu and "check for updates" should be there.

Never had a problem - updates are notified when opening the app or you can always check as detailed above
