Information On A Kalimar 173a Flash?

I picked this up at a thrift shop, cheap, mostly for the flash cable. My sister pointed out and said I might want to know the actual ohms on it, before hooking it up to my Kodak? Any help for a camera newb?

All it came with was flash, cable, and a small note packet, which doesn't have this on it.

Yep, nothing really comes up, save eBay auctions that neglect this information. :)

I was not able to find any info on the 173a but the 171a and 175a both have to much voltage

Alright, thanks. What is the voltage, then? Just for reference. :)

You may still be able to use the flash, but it will have to be fired by a remote trigger.

I know. The only thing I was missing was voltage information, provided by someone else. But thank you. :)

Your Kodak what? It could be that your Kodak is perfectly fine with a 300 volt flash...

Could you please share with us the information you have regarding the trigger voltage of the 173A?

In the handy link provided by hangman45 above:
4-5V measured by Michael Meissner,
but 183V measured by Derek Misener...

Not real consistent!
