Revisited this image from 2016 and decided it deserved another edit with the IPS monitor. Going for a realistic night scene instead of the over-cooked look that I previously had based on an edit with my laptop.

Lovely in download. I love the rich color of the sky and the twinkle of stars. The bluff is gorgeous.

Thank you for your feedback, George. I am glad you didn't see the other version, lol. On a respectable monitor, it looked cooked.
I know what I forgot to include in my post--what type monitor folks were viewing the image on. Even now, as I get back on the laptop, it looks quite dull. Argh!
What monitor are you using to visit websites? (I use my laptop for most things--only use the IPS monitor and desktop PC for photo editing.)

Helpful feedback, Carol--thank you! As I meant to ask in the initial post--what monitor do you view websites on? I have long been conflicted on PP work since there is a huge variance in color gamut between my laptop and desktop monitors. It has caused me to have a hard time finding a "look" for my finalized photos. Hence, it would be interesting to know what type monitor the majority of viewers are using.

Thank you, JD. May I ask what monitor type you use?

Thank you! Are you using a laptop or desktop monitor (and type)? I really want to get a handle on what degree of PP work looks appropriate on the majority of viewing platforms.
