A few bee pics for your viewing enjoyment! Many chores done, many more to complete by Fall! But I found sometime to dust off the 'ole D850-105G Macro 2.8 and get me some bee shots! Finally more than one or two bees or bumblers at a time. All shots handheld, 1/2500 to 1/3200, f 8, ISO 720. No EC or CPL although most shots were taken in bright sunlight!
Different kind of day sky-wise. Clouds scudding by would cause the sky to grow very dark for two to five minutes then bright sunlight! Few bright overcast periods :-( About 63 F a bit cool for this time of year.
Flowers featured include Foxglove, Clematis and Shasta Daisy-all grown, cared for and loved by my wife!
I am really very happy to finally see and photograph some bees!
Downloads are Sharp! Try 'em!
Enjoy!
Wonderful colors and details!
I really like how you did these. The bees look so at home with flowers. I like them all!
