I remember seeing a 1200mm Nikon lens just a few years ago, the price was $124K plus a min of 6mo wait while they built it.
I don't know if they still offer it, but they do not advertise it.
I'm happy with my Sony 200-600. Add the 2X.
I do believe if I had the money I would have no need for a 36 pound lens. Lol.
Sure, I'd buy the $90,000 lens, but then I I'd have to go and buy a Canon camera!

There is none.
Canon made 2 a year because that is all the fluorite crystal they could grow in that time. It also is f5.6.
Nikon did not use fluorite crystals and the max aperture was f11.
