Same Rookery, same day
So many birds in such a small place. All of them seemed so comfortable with a dozen birders and photographers watching closely.

The Night Heron is a beautiful birds! Is the last bird diving? His position seems strange.

Carol, sorry I forget to update the image with a bird species. That is a Glossy Ibis
Its actually dropping from a higher perch to return to his nest and his mate.
He dropped like that for 10 or 15' then half opened his wings to fly/power glide into the spot he was headed for.

Wow, Boy I'm glad you guys pointed this out. All this time I thought it was a special type of BCNH. That explains the strange beak.
