thanks, I am new to using this site. still learning about the camera to. thanks for your help.

The attach process is easy enough, just remember to click the box before attaching the file.

Both the <reply> and <quote reply> buttons enable a <Choose file> button that is a method to navigate to your example image.

That said, you only have half the truth. Yes, you will want to use CF cards if you want to take advantage of 10fps speed. But, there are different speeds of CF cards and if you buy a cheap no name brand you will be in the same boat with the SD cards - slow write speeds! I use Lexar (1066x cards) cards or Sandisk cards. You can also buy SD cards that will work almost as fast as the CF cards. But the camera SD cards slot in the 7D II has speed limitations.

Hi, I have a canon 7d mark II. I'm still learning about it. when shooting sports I found that it was not recording 10 frames per second. someone told my my sd card was not fast enough. someone else said to use cf cards because they are faster. I order one to try. but I don't have a cf card reader to plug into a usb port to watch the photos. can anyone recommend a good reader. would be nice if it would read sd and cf cards.
thanks

I don't know about your area, but it can sometimes be a challenge to buy CF cards and readers in my area nowadays. The market is pretty limited, and places like Micro Center tend to stock only large and fast cards that can be overkill for many cameras.

And I've found that it can be a challenge to find card readers today, as well. While the CF form factor is not necessarily obsolete, the world has mostly moved past it for new applications.

I'd suggest that while you are seeking the way fowrard, your best bet, even though not the cheapest, may be to buy through a local camera store or a trustworthy source like B&H. They can guide you through the best match of what they actually have for sale to what will provide the best service in your camera.
