I'm working on a new technique. I would like your comments positive or negative.

The background is 2 compiled images. Each of the two images are 10 images shot in a circular motion blended into one inside the camera. In post production I took my Clarity down on each image.
In Photoshop base layer is white.
Second layer is the first of the Merged images.
Third layer is the second merged image shot set to 40% opacity.
Forth layer is the in focus main shot with a mask opening up the main subject. Opacity is set to 79%

Looks very good.

It appears that this takes a good bit of planning. That seems to be something you are quite capable of doing.

Wonderful Jim. I'm not sure I understand any of your explanation but the results speak for themselves.

Thank you Jack,
Process was sort of hard to explain. It works different with different model cameras. I want to keep trying different settings and PP for this type of shot.

The technique makes for a very attractive background. Reminds me a little of cloning bits and pieces of a single original at low opacity.

Thank for stopping by Linda.
You said, "Reminds me a little of cloning bits and pieces of a single original at low opacity." I think you could accomplish the same thing by using that process. As I have mentioned in the past with all the software available one can accomplish a number of things in several different ways. The process comes down to what you'r most familiar with.
