I watched Back to the "Future" again last night on Netflix. That was such a good movie - something generally not available these days - especially on Netflix. It checked all the boxes for a good film. Now I'll have to watch II and III.

Hollywood used to produce good (even great) entertainment.

Now it is all woke propaganda, I pass.

You need to type in best movies of: (2019, 2020, etc), and take a look. You may not like most of them, but few can be considered woke. Take Tom Hank’s Greyhound movie about WW2. I bet you would like that. Or 2019’s 1917 about WW1. There are quite a few good movies, and a select few great movies (my wife and I loved Nomadland, and we’re looking forward to seeing Father).

Certainly a fun movie to watch. It's one of the better movie uses of the time travel themes and I always liked how they worked each opening element into the movie: the save the clock tower flyer, the Walkman, the Toyota pickup, the the mayor Goldie campaign, the radiation suit, the videotape recording, etc. Hilarious when Marty plays "Johnny B. Goode" with the '80's guitar riff at the dance.

It’s a favorite of mine, too. I didn’t care for the sequels.

The quality of movies with a good storyline are not gonna happen for the majority of us because we are not in their demographics. What I do fine enjoyable is watching are movies made outside of the US. Their story lines are interesting with better character development. Acorn is one of the better app's streaming very good stories from all around the UK and Europe. Some of the foreign countries dialog is too fast for me for read along with subtitles, like France, Spain & China, but it is refreshing to follow a good movie.

I didn't know there was a movie about WWI. I'll have to watch that. My father was in WWI. His 128th birthday would have been yesterday.
