It IS photography if you take a picture of it, so this should be the right place.
A UHH member asked to see more of my artwork here, so I thought I might start a thread for all of us to share. Anyone who draws, paints, sculpts, does woodworking, anything you make that you'd like to show here, PLEASE do.
I'll start it with a picture I painted a while back. I put it on my auction site on FB and it sold within 10 seconds of posting it. OOPS, I didn't mean to put it on with the sold stamp on it. I don't guess it matters.

Most of my customers are horse lovers/owners and do not want deer pulling Santa's sleigh. They want there horse out in front instead so I make these at Christmas time. Each piece is 4 feet tall and 5 feet wide.

I have two brothers and a nephew who can paint and draw but that skill skipped right past me.

I have to disagree with part of that. It's true that everyone can't draw, but I know for sure everyone can paint. They just don't know it YET. I have shown too many who thought they couldn't and it shocks them to see that they can. I love watching the shock when they see what they can do.

Here's my contribution to "My Hobby". This is one of the first quilts that I did for my wife. To date she has at least 7 or 8 (lost count) king sized quilts, at least a dozen lap quilts, one for each of the 4 kids, 8 grand kids, 13 great grand kids, and several for other family members plus doubles for a few individuals.
