Haven't you found that being in the right place at the right time really makes a HUGE difference? Here is a photo of Glacier Point in Yosemite National Park captured closing in on the golden hour with nice back lighting on the figure. That's upper and lower Yosemite falls in the shadows. This looks best in download mode.

Quite a photo. That's not something I would ever do. Heights and me
are not compatible unless I'm in an aircraft.

What a great shot. 50 years ago that would have been me standing out there.

Such shots look wonderful but to risky for my taste.

I have many such shots but they were all safe because I use composition to make it appear as if it was a sheer cliff when in reality, one can jump off or slid off and there is no deep empty space to fall into.

Stash, there are a lot of people out there like you that wouldn't go out on the edge of that cliff. Thanks for the nice compliment on the photo.

Here's 4 photos from the other side of that protruding rock that were taken more than 50 years ago!

Wallen, this is a REAL cliff with a couple of thousand feet of air below him! Thanks for the nice compliment about the photo.

Wonderful shot Brent!
If you ever see a pic of me crawling out there, someone will be standing behind me with a gun!
