Well..I think I'm getting dafter in my old age. In fact I'm sure I am. I've been watching prince Philips funeral because I know I'm a royalist at heart. I felt so sad for the queen. She looked so alone, and lost. At least I had my family sitting with me. I was upset to see all of them following the coffin. I watched the service and noticed that this virus leaves no one untouched. They were there with their masks on.

I'm a lover of William and Harry, because they lost their mam when they were kids as did I. I watched harruys wedding and thought my own thoughts and up until now I've been proved right. Well I was sad that he was apart from William and Cathryn. But hey, just as they were getting out of the service, he was with William, and Cathryn, talking and being together. This is the stupid bit....I wanted to cry, I was so happy to see it happen. They were talking away with each other. Some good comes out of every misfortune doesn't it. I feel for the queen. She doesn't know what's hit her yet. I'm sure she'll be well looked after by the family.im sure lots of you don't agree with me. But I think it will take an awful lot to come between those brothers. It was a very nice funeral, as funerals can be nice.

S had his jab today and I kept texting him to see if he was ok. No answer......I texted Richard and asked if dad was ok, or having a reaction and he said, oh he's moaning at everything and everybody and in a fowl mood...so it seems he's normal then.

I'm going to do a jigsaw when I've read up on UH. Love yawl xxx stay safe .

I didn't see it, will find it later on the internet I'm sure.
I usually watch all the royal events too. When else do you get to see such things, everything is always done in such a grand way. I wasn't sold on Harry's marriage either, hollywood people are very different from others and most marriages there don't work. I'm hoping they do, those boys deserve a bit of love and happiness in their lives with what the deal with daily. And I'm sure despite any drama they love each other very much. I think the whole world feels a bit like you, we've all watched them grow up and cried with them, rejoiced with them. It all makes you feel a part of it, so it's not silly at all.

Good morning from sunny Surrey. Spent yesterday in the garden apart from watching Prince Philip's funeral, which I thought was perfect. Spoke to gs1 and he is beginning to feel better and hopes to go home tomorrow.

More gardening planned for today.

Happy Sunday everyone and stay safe xxx

Put a terrible song in your window to replay over and over ...when her mom gets tired of it you can suggest she quiet her kid. My neighbor had a habit of playing her music early Saturday morning when it was my only day to sleep due to getting up at 6 am every day of the week. She wouldn’t change so I bought a recording of Italian goat herders playing bagpipe instruments and played it on repeat. She found she could move her music to another room or other side of that room where I didn’t hear it. My bedroom window was a short walk space from her dining room window. Problem solved. I’m not an unkind person but sometimes you have to encourage others to behave better.

This was after they filled in the low area across the road too.
Swamps are not protected in this county.

My country runs hot and cold on protecting different land sites; especially the Rain Forests! 🙄😮 🥴

OK, not sure how it could be either a blanket or a dog coat?
I like the natural colours of the animals.

The finished item will depend on how long I want to keep on knitting; so short time knitting will be a dog coat; and a long time knitting will become a blanket for one of the gk's; or for the caravan .... if I have given one to each of the gk's! 🤣😂🤣 xoxoxo

The only bee I react to is a little green bee that lives in swamps here. They are pretty too.
Good luck with your garden.

I need all of the luck that I can get; I haven't been able to keep a garden growing, where I am living now, so I am hoping that I can have a bit of success with this garden! 🥴

Good morning all from a gloriously sunny and mild London!!

I made two apple pies from my huge apple bounty, one for us and a bigger one for Matt, SIL, as it is his birthday tomorrow, will be shipping that over there in a short while together with a big jug of custard! Have just made him a card to go with it. He has got a tee-shirt gift as well!

I was quite proud of myself for taking two of the apples along to Jill, who was delighted with them!

Apart from that, nothing else planned but as it's such a nice day, I too may potter in the garden!!

Have a good one everybody, lots of love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

There are small clouds today. Yesterday was wall-to-wall blue sky with little or no wind and we sat for hours in DS1's garden just chilling. Best day so far this year. Now I am in strict self-isolation for 14 days ready for my op.

Good morning from a 46F Seattle area. The sun is just coming up and it's supposed to be another warm day - in the upper 70sF today. No plans so will go with whatever comes along and get on with my knitting. I hope you all are having a good day/afternoon/evening. xxxooo

It was nice to see the brothers talking. Harry is loved in my little corner of the world and we are sad to see him separated from his family. I thought it was a sad tradition to leave the bereaved sit by themselves. There is probably a good reason for that tradition.
