poor, but lucky little dog. very sweet.
Nice story. Thanks for sharing it.
I watch a lot of these types of videos on UTube and had actually seen this one before. There are many much, much worse cases on video and I only hope that these animals are not purposely mistreated just to be "saved" to make a video. I don't think that's the case but am not certain.
Great video. The end was even better because she (?) went to a home with another dog. Dogs are social animals and love to be with other dogs. We had two and they were a riot. We also had a cat and they were a threesome. Even better, we had three kids at the same time.
We had two cats that came to our door earlier in our marriage that we adopted. One just before she delivered a passel of kittens, one of which we kept and became the GCOAT.
Wanted to watch, but I'm not good with tear jerkers

The end of it is real good and it really is worth watching. The poor dog finally gets a great home if that helps.
I saw this and couldn't believe the way they were trying to get the poor dog. They should have sat on the ground and let the dog come to them when it trusted them. I was heading home late one night from work on my bike out in the boonies. Just before my turn onto my road I saw a car in the middle of the road and a person trying to approach a dog he had just hit with his car. The poor animal was terrified and this person, while trying to do the right thing, kept walking up to the dog. The dog saw him as a threat and growled each time. I told the guy to go to some of the homes around and find the owner. I sat down in the middle of the road in my leathers and laid my jacket on the ground and talked to the dog. He ended up coming over and laying on my jacket and let me pet him. It was obvious he was in pain but he was accepting my trying to relax him. Probably 20-30 minutes and the guy showed up with the owner. We all picked him up in my jacket, with him biting on my hand, and got him in the back of the vehicle. Fortunately I had heavy leather gloves on so he didn't break the skin. It was a steady bite like the old movies when they put something in a mans mouth to bite on during surgery. I asked the owner to contact me with the dogs outcome but never heard. You should always try to gain the animals trust and not try to trap it.
